We Have a Commitment with Mother Ocean
We don't use plastic water bottles on our boat or at the lodge. We will provide to our clients YETI water bottles while they are staying with us, and we will have refill jugs on board to refill your water bottles when it's needed.
This is a program named KICKPLASTIC, started by Costa del Mar, and as a fishing lodge we have adopted it to help our environment.
Grown Up on These Waters
Juan A. Spragge grew up fishing the local waters of Hannibal Bank, Montuosa Island, and Coiba Island. The knowledge he has of the local waters helps make your trip one to remember.
Whether your dream is to target fish casting poppers, or live baiting for Marlin, Juan and his team will help you to make it happen. Or if you want to spend the day chasing Roosters or Cubera Snappers around the rocks or along the shoreline, then change it up and chase Dolphin throwing poppers at the jumbo Yellowfin schools following along — we can tailor each trip to meet your needs.
If your plan is to bring your family on a trip of a lifetime and mix it up with other activities, you just need to let us know and we will put a family package together for you.

Once you step off the boat you won't be disappointed with what awaits you: home-cooked Panamanian cuisine. Whether they are cooking up some fresh catch from your day or some local favorites, you will be amazed.
Nothing like feeling at home while overlooking the local waters and getting fresh sea breeze to wake you in the mornings. Or after a long day on the water, grab a seat in one of the many hammocks for a nice afternoon nap.

Fishing in Panama
Tucan Lodge Panama is Family owned and operated by Captain Juan Spragge and his team. Our main goal is to provide our clients the best service and experience possible while staying and fishing us here at Tucan Lodge.
Our lodge is located on an island off the Pacific coast of Panama in the Gulf of Chiriqui just right outside Boca Chica.
